For those of you unlucky chaps who don’t regularly see a decent sized river, I present, the Ohio. Your welcome. I was driving home last night and figured it would look pretty good from up there at the scenic point.

Very nice. We used to live very close to the Arkansas, and I’d go down there regularly with my kids & dogs.

Where are you at on the Ohio? This looks to be farther north. My family has property on the river in So. IL. It is my happy place.

lol i was just in cincinnati last weekend for the Flying Pig Marathon, my wife ran the 10K which took her over the river into kentucky then back into ohio.

I live 37 minutes from Marietta, Ohio. I work and go to school in Marietta.

Pretty picture - reminds me of taking a mid-summer evening’s riverboat cruise out of Paducah. The kind of day where nothing is moving at all, except the river slowly rolling west to meet the Mississippi...

I’m fortunate, I work in downtown Minneapolis and live not far north of there, so I see the Mississippi from multiple views on a daily basis. I’m also close to the Minnesota and the St. Croix rivers. Rivers really are great.
